Tee sectionare one of the sections used in industry and construction. Mainly used for making all kinds of doors and windows, bridges to columns, steel structures, columns and trusses(Rigid structures made of triangular units, made of connecting slender and tall components), greenhouse skeletons, glass ceilings and more. Tee section are produced in two forms, round and sharp edges.

Tee sections usually have a thickness of 0.5 to 2.5 mm, with a thickness of 2 mm being more applicable.The dimensions of the Tee section are expressed in millimeters and its score in centimeters. Typically the width of each side of the Tee section is equal to its depth.  For example, if the dimensions are 100 mm, they are called a score of 10.

According to Standard Stahl, 'Tee section' are produced in two forms, round and sharp edges. Round edge 'Tee section' is 1 to 2 mm and sharp edge 'Tee section' is 1 to 2 mm which is produced in Iran in different sizes. The standard length of the trips is 1 to 2 meters. Other lengths are produced as per customer's request.

Production Tee section

One of the most common methods of metal forming is by hot rolling. First, the bloom with a specified cross-section and length is poured into rolling heat furnaces, after reaching the desired temperature and passing through the primary rolling racks, they decrease the cross section and increase its length. Finally, by passing through the middle and end rolling racks it becomes a tee section and is then cut by the cutting machine at the required length.

Tee section application in building construction

Spent on truss buildings, greenhouse skeletons, glass roofs and facades, basement lighting for glass bricks in the outdoor space and used as a deterrent in buildings as well as in barrier industries.
