Al-Akhbar newspaper announces 29 million liters of Iranian mazut fuel will arrive in Lebanon in the coming days .
Lebanon's al-Akhbar newspaper reported that the issue of importing Mazut fuel from Iran is still being investigated and there are uncertainties about the exact date of the Iranian ship's arrival in Lebanon, according to the Tasnim News International Group. However, information indicates that the first shipment will soon enter the Lebanese market.
The shipment of 29 million liters of Iranian mazut fuel, which will arrive in Lebanon in the coming days, will be distributed by al-Amaneah in two phases, al-Akhbar added in his report. The first stage relates to the distribution of this fuel in private and public hospitals and clinics and some essential goods manufacturing plants, and the second phase includes municipalities and private sector producers.
According to the report, Iran's mazut fuel is being transported to Lebanon via a number of tankers from Syria, which provided services free of charge. Also, the iranian ship's fuel shipment is not discharged at once, and the process is scheduled to take place within a few days.
News of iran's fuel carriers arriving in Lebanon over the past week was among the major news in the region and the world, after confirming the arrival of the first ship, news indicates the second and third fuel carriers headed to Lebanon, ordered by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah.
