it was impossible to reach a new nuclear deal with Iran

According to Mehr News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative in Vienna-based international organizations, expressed optimism in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper about the resumption of Vienna talks after the inauguration of Iran's new president, Seyed Ibrahim Raisi .

However, he said the exact date of the start of the seventh round of Vienna talks is still unknown. Ulyanov added that with a new president in office and a new government; We do not know what changes may be made in the Iranian approach. The possibility that the views of the Iranian side on some of the issues discussed in Vienna (with the new government) will be reconciled; It cannot be rejected. But we do not know anything about this yet.

At the same time, Ulyanov stressed that a new agreement on Iran's nuclear program was impossible and that there was no alternative to reviving the IAEA in its original form.

The Russian diplomat added: "All speculation about starting from scratch and writing a new agreement is an illusion." Such a thing will not happen so soon and never. We must proceed on the basis of facts, and the main task is to revive Borjam to its original form as soon as possible.

Ulyanov also said that the lifting of anti-Iranian sanctions depends on continuing negotiations and fulfilling the obligations set out in the initial agreement.

He had previously said that the aim of the Vienna talks was to revive Burjam in its original form, and nothing more and nothing less.

According to Ulyanov, all participants in the talks need to be careful not to even unintentionally create the feeling that they are trying to add something new to the agreement.

Earlier, Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna had said that the United States wanted to take the nuclear deal hostage over missile and regional issues.

According to the Iranian Permanent Representative in Vienna, the Americans claim that they are ready to return to their obligations under the nuclear agreement and lift sanctions against it, but their behavior in the negotiations does not prove this, because the United States has agreed to accept the talks. The future was tied to regional issues that are completely irrelevant and harmful to the subject of negotiations.
