According to metals online news and analysis, as stated in Chart 1, aluminium prices on the London Metal Exchange dropped 1.7% to $4.5 on Wednesday, September 1, compared to the last trading (Tuesday, August 31). On Tuesday, August 31, aluminum was priced at $2,714 per tonne, reaching $2,667 and 50 cents per tonne yesterday.
Also on Wednesday, September 1, aluminium prices on the London Metal Exchange rose by 0.8 observations of $20, from $2,647 and 50 cents per tonne to $2,667 and 50 cents per tonne.
The average aluminium inventory in london metal exchange warehouses also increased by 44,350 tonnes from 1.295,500 tonnes last week to 1.336,850 tonnes in the last week.
