Despite the price of concentrate in the world reaching about 34% of global bullion, studies show that the prices of iron ore concentrate and pellets in Iran have not changed significantly .
According to metal bulletin magazine, the price of iron ore concentrate is $232.01 and the price of iron ore pellets is $290.99.
According to today's dollar rate (235,400 Rials), the price of concentrate in China is 54 million and 615 thousand and 154 rials and the price of pellets in China is equal to 67 million and 499 thousand and 46 rials. That is, the consumer in China works at this price and offers bullion as a competitive product at a global price that is profitable.
According to this report, in Iran, the price of Khuzestan Steel Codal (Fakhuz) is 129 million and 249 thousand and 226 rials, the price of concentrate traded on the exchange is 24 million and 600 thousand rials (equivalent to 19 percent of the price of the codal) and the price of pellets traded on the exchange is 35 million and 200 thousand rials (equivalent to 27.2 percent of the price of the codal).
However, the price of the Iranian Iron Ore Association for concentrate is at least 21% and for pellets is at least 28.5%.
Based on the numbers of 2018, when the global price of concentrate was about 21% of the price of global bullion, it was based on 16% codal for concentrate and 23.5% for pellets, which in the present situation, the price of concentrate in the world has reached about 34% of global bullion, but prices inside have not changed significantly.
However, the directive, which stated 16% and 23.5% percentages, has been annulled by the Administrative Justice Court.
That is, given that the price of bullion has almost always been close to the global price, when the global concentrate was 21% global bullion, the price of domestic concentrate was 16% (approximately 75% of the global price). Now that the global ratio has reached 34 percent, the price of concentrate on the stock exchange is 19 percent (approximately 56 percent of the global price).
