Zinc Metal

Zinc is a chemical element with the chemical symbol Zn and is located in group 12 of the periodic table. The capacity of this element is 2, i.e. it can exchange electrons with two other elements. The color of this element is usually grayish blue, darkened by humidity. 

Zinc is the fourth most commonly used metal and after iron, aluminum and copper is the most produced metal that has different industrial applications and has always been used since centuries ago.

Zinc has many applications in the huge pharmaceutical industry. Disinfectant solutions made from Smith zonite or calamine and contain a combination of zinc and silicate in the form of pale pink powder in insoluble water, but dissolved well in mineral acids have anti-itchy effect and are used for external (dermal) use and in the form of powders, waterproof creams (lotions) with brand names.

Kalamine drugs are used for dry skin, mild burns, eczema, scratches, pustules, burns urine, baldness, insect bites, yellow sores, varicose veins and hemorrhoid treatment. Zinc includes daily vitamins and minerals, and according to other metals, this metal has anti-oxidation properties that protects against early aging of the skin and joints of the body.

By examining the properties of zinc, they have found that this element can accelerate postoperative recovery. Sucking pills are used to treat colds and inflammation of the mouth and tonsils. This metal is also widely used in dentistry.
